Ingredients

For the Donut Bites
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Opt for high-quality self-rising flour for the best texture; if unavailable, you can make your own by mixing all-purpose flour with baking powder and salt.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Using full-fat Greek yogurt will yield a richer flavor; however, you can use low-fat options if desired.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Stir until the mixture forms a soft, dough-like consistency.
  3. Dust your hands with a little flour to prevent sticking. Take small portions of dough, roll them into balls, and flatten them slightly with your palm to create donut shapes.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the donut bites in a single layer, ensuring they aren't touching.
  2. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the donut bites are golden brown and cooked through, checking around the 7-minute mark to avoid overcooking.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar or dipping them in your favorite glaze.

Notes

Try different flavored yogurt, add vanilla extract for richer taste, or include a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat them in the air fryer.
