Preparation

- In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, ground cinnamon, and salt until crumbly and well-combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
Baking
- Evenly spread the oat mixture over the top of the apple layer, ensuring all apples are covered.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are bubbling and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
- Allow the Apple Crisp to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using nutmeg or allspice. For gluten-free, substitute regular flour with almond or coconut flour and butter with coconut oil.
