Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Scrub the potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt, then pat them dry.
- Use a fork to poke holes in each potato (about 6-8 times). Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
Baking
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet for easier cleanup.
- Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork pierces through easily.
- Once done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes.
Serving
- Cut a slit down the center of each potato, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your desired toppings.

Use high-quality ingredients for better flavor. Fresh herbs can elevate the dish even more. Leftover baked potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, just pop them back in the oven or microwave.
