Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and add the egg noodles. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 7-9 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, allowing it to simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles with the sour cream and half of the cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly until evenly coated.
- Add the beef mixture into the noodle and creamy mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Transfer the whole mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
