For the Roll-Ups
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 oz) Fresh dough yields the best results, but frozen or homemade can be used.
For the Filling
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Opt for whole-milk mozzarella for extra creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni Feel free to substitute with turkey pepperoni or a vegetarian option.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
For the Dipping Sauce
  • 1 cup marinara sauce A good quality sauce will bring everything together beautifully.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, unroll your pizza dough and stretch it into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Distribute the sliced pepperoni evenly on top of the cheese.
  5. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and pinch the ends to seal.
  6. Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and place them cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and Italian seasoning on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  2. While they bake, warm the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Remove the roll-ups from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.
