Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 roll Ciabatta roll Can substitute with sourdough, focaccia, or sandwich bread.
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken, diced Rotisserie chicken is recommended.
  • 2 slices Bacon, cooked Microwave or leftover bacon works great.
  • 1 slice Tomato Fresh and ripe.
  • 1 slice Sharp cheddar cheese Can substitute with provolone, gouda, or mozzarella.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey mustard or Chick-fil-A sauce This is the flavor kicker.
Optional Add-Ons
  • to taste Thin red onion slices
  • to taste Avocado slivers
  • to taste Roasted red peppers
  • to taste Fresh spinach or arugula

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your ciabatta roll in half horizontally and set both sides open.
  2. Spread your sauce generously on both sides.
  3. Layer the bottom half with tomato slices, diced chicken, cooked bacon, and cheddar cheese.
  4. Cap it with the top half and press down lightly.
Cooking
  1. Heat up your panini press or nonstick skillet.
  2. Butter both grill surfaces or the outside of your bread.
  3. Grill and press gently for 3-5 minutes until the outside is crisp and the cheese has melted.
  4. Remove, slice in half, and enjoy your sandwich.

Notes

You can assemble the panini ahead of time and store it in the fridge, but avoid adding tomatoes until ready to grill to prevent sogginess.
