Preparation
- Soften the cream cheese, butter, and mayonnaise, then mix them together until blended.
- Prepare the cucumber by slicing it into thin ribbons.
- Finely slice the green tops of the green onions.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture onto slices of bread, avoiding the edges.
- Layer the cucumber ribbons and green onion on top of the spread.
- Add a layer of butter lettuce if using.
- Cover with another slice of bread and trim off the crusts for presentation.
Chill
- Wrap the sandwiches and let them chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours for best flavor.
Serving
- Cut the sandwiches into triangles and serve.
