  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the almond or oat flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt until well mixed.
  2. Pour in the maple syrup, nut butter, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
  3. Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and nuts, if using, until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  4. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Once chilled, scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball using your hands. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. After rolling all the dough, refrigerate the bliss balls for an additional 15-20 minutes to firm them up before serving.
