  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably local or artisanal) Drizzle generously over the brie.
For the Nuts
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts), chopped Feel free to experiment with different nuts.
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped Optional, for added flavor.
For Serving
  • assorted crackers or sliced baguette
  • fresh fruit (like apple slices or grapes)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. While the oven warms up, place the wheel of brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the honey generously over the top of the brie, allowing it to coat the cheese evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the chopped nuts with the sea salt and any fresh herbs you're using.
Baking
  1. Spread the nut mixture evenly over the honey-covered brie.
  2. Bake the brie in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and starting to ooze but not completely melted.
  3. Carefully remove the brie from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh fruit for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with nuts and flavors; consider infusing with balsamic vinegar or spices. For a different sweetness, swap honey for maple syrup, or top with savory ingredients like sautéed mushrooms. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2 days.
