Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) Use fresh salmon for best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
For the Garlic Butter
  • ½ cup ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted Use high-quality butter.
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 whole Zest of one lemon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Whisk until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season each fillet with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center. The edges should be lightly browned, and the garlic will have your kitchen smelling heavenly.
  4. Remove from the oven and let sit for a minute before serving with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a Low-Carb Twist: Serve over a bed of sautéed spinach or cauliflower rice. Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until warm.
