Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a baking dish with a bit of olive oil or butter.
- Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Making Garlic Butter
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice.
Baking
- Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the seasoned salmon fillets.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer; salmon is perfectly cooked at an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Keep an eye on the fillets; they can dry out quickly. You can prepare the garlic butter in advance and store it in the fridge.
