Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Lightly spray an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper. Then spray the parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, dark chocolate chips, and sea salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, water, and vanilla together until well combined.
- Sprinkle the dry mixture over the wet mixture. Stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Baking
- Bake for 40 to 48 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs attached.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing.
Notes
To keep your brownies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them after wrapping well to prevent freezer burn. For serving, try adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream, dusting with powdered sugar, or drizzling with chocolate sauce.
