Preparation
- Start by preparing your work area. Gather all ingredients and equipment, including a mixing bowl, spatula, and mini cupcake or muffin pans lined with paper liners. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Take the whole Oreos and place them, cream side up, in the bottom of each muffin liner. This will serve as the crust.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the crushed Oreos. Mix until smooth and well-blended, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
- Spoon the cheesecake filling over the Oreo crusts, filling each liner to the top. Smooth out the tops with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature. After they cool, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling; it’ll blend easier without lumps. Feel free to add toppings such as whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, or extra crushed Oreos on top for added flair! For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free Oreos. For storage, keep these bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen; just ensure they are in a freezer-safe container.
