Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over the fish fillets, coating both sides.
- In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, paprika, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.
- Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fish fillet.
Baking
- Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The topping should be golden-brown and crunchy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the fillets in herbs or citrus before baking. Add spices like cayenne pepper for a kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven to maintain crispiness.
