Ingredients
  

For the Cheese Crisps
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Choose high-quality cheese for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Minimally processed pepperoni recommended.
Optional Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional for flavor enhancement.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Optional for color and taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese onto the parchment, forming circles about 3 inches in diameter. Space them 2 inches apart.
  4. Place 3-4 pepperoni slices on top of each cheese mound, pressing them down lightly.
  5. If using, sprinkle garlic powder and paprika over the crisps.
Baking
  1. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before gently lifting them off with a spatula.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses, meats, and herbs for unique flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. To restore crunch, re-bake briefly if necessary.
